I'm a researcher, maker and creative thinker studying digital economies of 'trash' through decolonial feminist economics, STS, and art.
Ruca (series of drawings)
2010
Ruca is a series of drawings done from a potpourri of images depicting women and the ideal of feminity. These images, taken from sources such as porn and fashion magasines and my own photos, wonder about the media construction of the female's image in an attempt to neutralize each sources' charges with a heavy aestheticized turn.
